Bremen, 20 April 2022
Nordwest Assekuranzmakler GmbH & Co. KG (NW Assekuranz) insures the largest photovoltaic project in Germany with 190 megawatts. The groundbreaking ceremony for the second construction phase took place on 14 April. The "Schornhof" solar park of Anumar GmbH near Ingolstadt in Bavaria will thus have a total output of 190 megawatts in the future. A large part of the electricity will be marketed through power purchase agreements (PPAs).
"We are pleased to once again provide our client Anumar with insurance support for this major project," says Carsten Meerjans, account manager and long-standing EE expert at NW Assekuranz. "Thanks to our individual insurance solutions, especially for the coverage of the PPA, and our know-how in the field of renewable energies, which is recognised throughout the market, we have once again developed a tailor-made concept for the project," adds Meerjans.
"Considering the size of our projects and the complexity of the PPA, we are pleased to have NW Assekuranz as a very reliable partner at our side, who also supported us significantly in the discussions with offtakers. Thanks to the close partnership and the expertise of both companies, we have once again succeeded in placing an insurance concept that fully meets the requirements of all project participants," emphasises Markus Brosch, Managing Director of Anumar GmbH.
