NW Assekuranz expands its management: Matthias Böhm appointed Managing Director

As of 1 October, Matthias Böhm takes the post of Managing Director of Nordwest Assekuranzmakler GmbH & Co. KG (NW Assekuranz), and now manages the company together with Thomas Haukje, André Grobien, Ralf Tabbert and Dr. Patrick Wendisch. The experienced manager is responsible for strengthening the position of NW Assekuranz on the international market and setting the course for further innovation and industry focus.
"With Matthias Böhm, we gain a highly experienced manager in the industrial insurance business with a technical expertise in the paper and food industries and mechanical engineering that is recognised by the entire market," says Ralf Tabbert, Managing Director of NW Assekuranz. "We have faith in his know-how and will no doubt profit from his experience," Thomas Haukje, Managing Partner of NW Assekuranz, adds.

Böhm contributes a lot of leadership experience in the national and international insurance industry. He worked in various positions at Aon plc in Hamburg from 2006 to 2018, most recently as Chief Development Officer and member of the executive board.
